We help homeowners spend their backyard budget on gear they'll actually use — without wading through hundreds of reviews first.
Why this site exists
Backyard purchases are expensive, bulky and hard to return. The product pages are all marketing, the review sites are all affiliate listicles, and the right answer usually depends on details nobody mentions — how you cook, how big your patio is, how often you'll really use the thing.
Backyard Review exists to be the straight-talking friend who's already read all of it. Each guide narrows a crowded category down to a handful of options and tells you who each is for — and who should skip it.
How we make money
Backyard Review is reader-supported. When you buy through some links on our site, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We may also show ads or link to local-pro quote services. What we do (and don't) claim
Our guides are research-based: we compare manufacturer specifications and warranty terms and, where a guide says so, independent tests and long-term owner feedback. We don't claim to have personally tested the products, and when we have hands-on experience with one we say so explicitly.
