Verified deals

Backyard deals we actually checked

Current discounts on the gear in our guides. A person confirms each one on the date shown, and it drops off automatically when it expires or gets stale. No fake countdowns, no invented “was” prices.

21days until Black Friday & Cyber Monday 2026

November 27, 2026

No verified deals right now.

Nothing verified at the moment

That's by design. We only list a deal after checking it on the seller's own page, and anything we haven't re-checked in 7 days comes down. In the meantime, our guides show the picks worth watching, and the checklist below keeps you from getting played by a fake discount.

The next sales moments

Dates are calculated from the calendar. Brands set their own promotions, so treat the notes as what's commonly promoted, not a promise.

  1. Black Friday & Cyber Monday 2026

    November 27, 2026

    21 days away

The biggest sales window of the year. Many brands and retailers run sitewide promotions, and cold-weather gear like fire pits, heaters, saunas and cold plunges is right on season.

  2. Memorial Day 2027

    May 31, 2027

    206 days away

The unofficial start of grilling season. Retailers commonly promote grills, griddles, patio furniture and outdoor kitchens.

  3. Father's Day 2027

    June 20, 2027

    226 days away

A popular gifting moment for grills, smokers, pizza ovens, thermometers and tool sets.

  4. Fourth of July 2027

    July 4, 2027

    240 days away

Grills and patio gear are heavily promoted around the holiday weekend.

Before you buy any deal

How to shop sales without getting played

  1. 1

    Check the price history first

For Amazon, price trackers such as Keepa or CamelCamelCamel show whether a "deal" is really lower than the last few months. Google Shopping also tracks price history for many products.

  2. 2

Make sure it's the same model

Sale models are often the previous generation or a retailer-exclusive version. For example, Ooni lists first-generation Koda ovens alongside its newer Koda 2 line, so a markdown can mean an older design. Compare the spec sheets.

  3. 3

    Read the warranty fine print

Coverage can depend on where you buy. As of our October 2026 check, several Ooni product pages list a free 5-year warranty only when you buy on ooni.com (terms vary by model), and Gozney's 5-year warranty requires registering within 60 days of purchase. Buying from a third party can change what you get.

  4. 4

    Know the return window

Holiday return windows are often extended, but large and heavy items can carry freight or restocking fees. Check before you buy a grill, oven or hot tub.

  5. 5

    Count the full cost

Delivery, liftgate fees, assembly, propane tanks, covers and accessories can add up. A cheaper sticker price isn't always the cheaper purchase.

  6. 6

Don't buy it just because it's cheap

Use our guides to decide what you want first, then use deals to pay less for it. A discount on the wrong product is still a bad purchase.

Deals: quick answers

How do you verify a deal?

A person opens the seller's own page, confirms the offer is live, and records the date. Every deal on this page shows that date and where it was checked. If a deal's verification is more than 7 days old, or its end date passes, it disappears automatically until someone re-checks it.

Why is the list sometimes short or empty?

Because we'd rather show nothing than show something we haven't checked. Between verification runs, deals age out.

Do you earn a commission on these deals?

Possibly. Some links are affiliate links, which pay us if you buy at no extra cost to you. A deal is listed because it is real and relevant to products we cover, not because of what it pays. See our affiliate disclosure.

Is a Black Friday price really the lowest of the year?

Not always. Check the price history before you buy, and compare other retailers: some products are discounted at other times, and some "deals" are on older models or exclusive versions.
